The KORTHAUS Company

KORTHAUS is a family-owned company in its second generation and has been successful in the field of pump construction for the environmental industry for over 40 years. We are represented at two locations in Germany (Balve, Nordrhein-Westfalen as well as Königsbrück, Saxony). The company with flat hierarchies is jointly managed in the second generation by senior partner Dipl.-Ing. Ernst Korthaus and junior partner Doris Korthaus (M.Eng.).

In 1981, Dipl.-Ing. Ernst Korthaus started his own design office with a focus on pump technology. The main focus of the developments were e.g. concrete pumps.

KORTHAUS Maschinen GmbH, founded in 1991, developed the oil-hydraulically driven piston pumps of the KH series, which are protected by numerous patents. Parallel to pump construction, the company also manufactures machine parts according to customer drawings (contract manufacturing in the field of CNC metal processing) for a wide range of mechanical and plant engineering customers in various industries.

Since 2016, Mrs. Doris Korthaus developed the rotary lobe pumps series KD. Submitted patents were successfully registered.

Since 2018, daughter Doris Korthaus (M.Eng.) has been part of the management team at KORTHAUS.

KORTHAUS Pumpen GmbH, founded in 2021, combines the pump series of KORTHAUS in a separate company.
