KORTHAUS has been manufacturing positive displacement pumps for the environmental and waste management industries since 1981. For several generations, we have been driven by a passion for high-quality, robust products that meet demanding technical requirements, for providing customized solutions to our customers’ problems, and for innovations that set new benchmarks in the market.
We develop, manufacture, and distribute pumps products and pumping systems for the conveyance of “slurries”—that is, abrasive and viscous liquids, slurries, or thick fluids. Our focus is on thick-matter or slurry piston pumps, rotary lobe pumps, and other pumping-related products. We also offer service and maintenance for our machines — all around the globe.

Now in its second generation, KORTHAUS is dedicated to pump manufacturing. Even after 40 years, the challenges posed by complex fluid systems remain our daily passion. Drawing on decades of engineering expertise and the understanding that only high-quality products provide sustainable solutions for our customers, we are constantly refining our heavy-duty pump systems.
Our growing company, the KORTHAUS Group, is organized into two companies (KORTHAUS Maschinen GmbH | KORTHAUS Pumpen GmbH) and is jointly managed by Senior Partner Dipl.-Ing. Ernst Korthaus and Junior Partner Doris Korthaus (M.Eng.). Our locations are in Upper Lusatia near Dresden (East location) and in South Westphalia near Dortmund (West location).
